I want to thank everyone who has expressed interest in this group! My hope and prayer is that we all find a little more joy and peace in our lives (and in our minds) and we can grow as women of faith. My name is Linda Faith! I am 26. I am married to an amazing Air Force man! I have a 5 year old son (Aiden)from a previous marriage, that my husband has legally adopted to be his own. We also have a 1 year old son (Micah) together. We are currently stationed in Albuquerque, NM and we are moving in April to Colorado Springs. I am a stay at home mom and I home-school Aiden, at least for kindergarten. My "Battles of the mind" are usually worse when Jarod is gone. He has to go TDY and Deploy for the military and I struggle with worry. I also think of things from my past and get mad at myself. So I'm learning to "cast my worries upon the Lord" and to forgive myself and forget about the hurt others have caused me (if that's possible).I am really excited to learn from Joyce Meyer because she has been through Hell and back! I am Deborah, married for 38 years and have 3 sons, Chris,Tom and John, the last two twins who are still at home. Chris is newly married to Linda Faith's mom,Bonnie and I'm delighted to be a new mother-in-law. I prayed for Bonnie for many years, although didn't have a name to the prayer until this past year! I teach nursing full time at a community college and often consider that my second mission, after my family. We live in Fort Lauderdale but raised our children in Sarasota. I am married to one of the best men on this planet. Chris and I have been married only two short years. I feel like we have been together forever though. Hi, my name is Linda, and proud to be grandmother to Linda Faith. My husband, Don, and I will be married 50 wonderful years this year. Our two kids are Bonnie and Doug and they have blessed us with 6 fun-loving grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. I am so excited to be studying with women I care about but don't get to see too often. I have a real sense of destiny about this study because, as each of us grows emotionally and spiritually, our influence on others for Kingdom purposes will become more widespread and effective. My name is Darlene and I'm married to a "treasure" (Linda Faith's Dad)who gets more and more valuable to me as time goes by! I grew up in a small town in Michigan along with 8 other siblings(6 brothers, 2sisters). That was fun! Shortly out of high school, I met my first husband in Melbourne, Florida. I moved to New Jersey where he was from originally once he finished his military duties and we were married. Through many dangers, toils and snares (I might add many wonderful moments also) I have already come...back...to Florida! I had my first real awakening encounter with the Lord in 1978 around Easter right in my own livingroom! His presence just filled the room and me! By His amazing grace! My 2 adult children, Chad and Shaina live in New Jersey. Dale and I have a grand total of 9 grandchildren at last count. I've experienced a lot and traveled some over the past 50+ years. My name is Karen. I am 30. Linda and I met one year before we were close friends and in the end we both wished we had spoken sooner. She lived next door to me. Since then we've become very close friends (best friends) and we do our best to keep in touch. I work for a family practice doctor and 99% of the time love my job. I have an 8 year old son (3rd grade) who plays soccer and I am engaged to a truly wonderful man by the name of Nathan. I feel strongly that this group will help us all draw closer to God to win battles in our lives and minds and that it will be a bond for us to stand together united for the cause of Christ. I'm excited about this and honored to be a part of it with all of you wonderful women.
Hi. My name is April Head. I am a month shy of being 30 living in Washington DC right now on a field assignment with Harris. I am single and as with many of you struggling with many things in my mind. I am so excited about starting this bible study and working on creating an even strong relationship with the Lord. Linda this was such a great idea. Thank you for bringing us all together. I bought both the book and audio version of the book today and will be listening to it on my comute to and from work as well as reading when I have time at home. I am currently working on my Master's degree so life gets crazy but I will keep up as best as I can. I look forward to learning more about myself and each of you as we each begin another journey in our walks with God.

Hi, my name is Heather, I'm almost 30 years old and I'm originally from Alabama, but currently reside in the freezing state of Alaska. I have never met Linda Faith, but her husband and mine are extremely close friends and have been for nearly a decade (I think), and Linda Faith has reached out to me as a friend and amazingly sweet person she seems to be. TJ and I have been married just over a year and a half, but we've been together nearly four years. We have an incredible son, Ethan, who will be 9 months old on 5 March. TJ and I are both in the Air Force. I haven't been involved in church or Bible studies for several years, but I feel as if something is missing in my life [and it's not just my deployed husband :)], it's the relationship I had with God and other believers. I don't have the book yet, but I'll get it this weekend, and if my active son will let me, I'll have the first chapter read by Monday. Thank you LF for the invitation. I am VERY committed to one elderly person at a time. I have no home of my own, because I usually take care of the person in their own home. I live in Michigan,right now, where it is quite cold! I found that, if you are doing Gods will, (my calling) it really isn't a job at all...It is an honor! I am excited to hear and learn from all of you. My name is Lisa. I am lousy at these introduction things so bear with me. I am 26 years old and a single mom of two beautiful angels. The amazing young woman who started this thing kind of "rescued" me in my senior year of high school. I was the new kid in town and wound up amidst a group of people who all knew each other, and none of them knew me. She was kind enough to talk with me and get me acclimated to this new environment i was in. I grew up in New York, and moved here to melbourne, Florida about oh...almost ten years ago now (Has it really been that long?)
I am self employed and work at home, working three jobs to support myself and my wonderful children. Goodness,seems like some days I never got out from in front of this computer.
Anyway, me in a nutshell..Like i said, lousy at these silly "introduce yourself" things, as i tend to be a bit shy and kind of try to blend into the background most of the time.

God truly works in ways that most will never understand! Just six short years ago, I never even DREAMED that I'd be where I am today! I LOVE my God and my life and I owe it all to God!
How I now Linda. Her brother, Jason, and I were friends for a while, then we dated a while. Linda's parents took me in when I was 13 (before I finally left home for good). They showed me what love was, what a family was, and who God was. They showed me how to love and live for God! That was really my first REAL experience with a truly Christian family. Ya know, one that actually does right and believes what God said! I love and miss all of them very much!!(I've still got a family photo of ya'll with the dog in my album!)
Anyways, Bonnie, Dale, Jason, and Linda honestly I owe my life to ya'll. Had ya'll not been there, who knows what would've happened to me. Thank you! =)
Anyways, I'm now almost 29 and I go to school full-time, work part-time and have 4 children and a hubby! Whoa....lots and lots to do. Always. The teenagers in my classes ask me how I do it. My answer is always the same, "By the grace of God."

My name is Dena I'm 37, ooo that hurts to type, I'm single never been married and do not have kids. YET! Tee, hee! I've been such a slacker with this group but I have been listening to the audio and have even read some of the book. The month of March has been crazy with work (no free time there) and the weekends all booked with camping trips, volunteering and a ski vacation. This month has been stressful but a happy one because any time I'm growing and getting closer to God my heart seems to beam with happiness. I owe it all to him and want to make God proud in everything I do. I'm currently searching for my life's plan and waiting for God to direct me. Reading this book and fellowshipping with all of you will be a pleasure on my journey. May God bless you all like he does me daily!
