- I am a proud Air Force wife with an amazing supportive husband, Jarod. I am a stay at home mom of 3 wonderful boys. (Aiden 10, Micah 5 1/2, Jordan 1) I am currently pregnant with our 4th (and final...NO REALLY!) baby. I hope this blog helps family and friends follow our journey through the ups and downs of pregnancy especially since we live far away from all of them.

I am leaving Wednesday for my honeymoon.I confess I have a terrible fear of flying.I have also been dealing with alot of pain due a physical condition. Lately, my anxiety levels over these things have robbed me of peace and sleep. Obviously, our study is timely for me. But, I ask your prayers.

I have an exam/consultation today with a LASIK eye doctor. I'm a little nervous. Please pray that the Dr. has wisdom and I have peace of mind. I could be having surgery next week. That will be a separate Prayer Request!

Good Morning Ladies. This one isn't for me. This is for my parents. They are in the middle of fixing up their old house (they built a new one and moved next door to us last year) and it has taken alot longer than any of us thought to get it ready for selling (almost a year). They have had two house payemens and two utility payments all this time. They are about finished with the "fix-ups". They have been living off debt for months now. Please pray that their house sell soon. My parents and I would greatly appreciate it!!!

Yet another prayer request for you ladies. My cousin Rachel's husband's father...got that? LOL!! He had cancer on his prostate and had it taken out and now it's all over his bladder. Please keep this man and his family in your prayers.

I ask that you all continue to lift me up in your prayers as I've just found out on Tuesday that I have cancer of the base of the tongue - going to U of Miami for another consult on 24th - treatment is irradiation/chemo along with placment of a PEG tube in the stomach to main nutrition during treatment - UGH!! Being an RN (and we're known for not being the best of patients!!) I know too much, but I'm just going to do whatever the oncologist recommends and he's assured me that he will give me the best care possible. He said we need nursing instructors. I really liked him and feel good being in his care. Of coursse, I have the best hands of all to be in, Jesus Christ. So we're onward and upward. And Saruh, I'm praying for Katlin's eye infection - yes, cost of drugs is out of sight these days! Linda faith, how did your consult with the Eye doctor turn out. Candace, ask God for time to read and it will be given to you - stay focused. I know it's difficult with children and working - get up 15 mins. earlier or read when they're in bed - chapters are very short.
I just pray that I can figure out how to work this so you can read my comments. I'm praying for you all. I know some of these things have past to pray for but I'm sure there are new things in your life that need prayer and I'll keep you in my thoughts as I pray and hopefully things in you life will be smooth sailing! I would really appreciate if everyone could keep me in their thoughts this week, as I am facing very difficult times. Iam currently holed up at a friends house on the couch, as my previous roommate did some very dishonest things, and as a result i have no electricity in my home, and left a bill of over 1400 dollars. I am not quite sure where to come up with the funds to recover from this, and I am really running out of optimism on this one. I have two small children that i cannot have with me right now and if their fatheer finds out why he will take them from me. Iam at a loss and out of ideas.

Lisa, I know this seems like the bottom of the pit and there is no way out but you will get through it. Remember, God has a plan for your life that He devised before you were born. All of us in "It's A Faith Thing" study are praying for you. The enemy doesn't want you to believe or practice what you are learning so tramp on him with faith, even if it is only a little bit.
Lisa, please know you are my families thoughts and prayers. My heart goes out to you. Keepp your faith in God, He is the only one that won't let you down. It's hard enough to clean up our own messes, nevertheless someone elses. Keep the faith!!

Ok everyone we need some prayer! The next few weeks are crazy for us. I'm having LASIK eye surgery on Tues 4/1 and we all have a few dr appts to get caught up before we move. Oh and we have to finish packing and be on the road Mon 4/14. In the middle of all this we are trying to plan a yardsale, a night out for Jarod w/ his friends, a night out for me w/ my friends and a going away party and Aiden's 6th b-day party. I take one day at a time because that's all I can handle right now. So please pray that we don't get overwhelmed and that we have the help we need to get through these next few weeks.

Prayer please for Deborah. She went to the ER today because of severe shaking. She is about to start radiation and chemo and she is diabetic. Will keep you posted. Grandma Linda
Update on Deborah. Her chemicals/electrolytes were all out of balance and she is stable now. She goes home from hospital tomorrow. Will start chemo/radiation tomorrow as well. So, keep on praying for her as she goes through this difficult and challenging time. Grandma Linda
Update on Deborah: She is back in hospital. Severe vomiting and shaking. Drs. are going to investigate further. They are going to do an MRI on her brain. She did not start chemo/radiation today as planned. Grandma Linda
Hey ladies! Chris found out yesterday he was getting laid off next Thursday. Please keep us in your prayers that Chris will find work and will find something that will pay what is needed to atleast pay the bills. Thanks so much ladies!!!

Update on Deborah: She is feeling strong and well, with one week of chemo and radiation completed. She has 40 treatments, total - 5 radiations per week and 1 chemo per week.

Please pray for Steven Curtis Chapman and his family for the lost of their youngest child. Also pray for the son that caused this accidental tragic.
Please pray for our friends Brian and Connie. They tried to have a baby for years and then decided on adoption. They adopted a newborn baby boy and took him home from the hospital the day after he was born. They had him for 5 weeks and fell in love. Then the biological mother changed her mind and got the baby back. They are devastated! Please pray for them!
