I thought it would be encouraging for us to share any testimonies we have. So this blog will be just that. Please share what God has done in your life.
Be Blessed!

This blog is for women of Faith. This isn't for a specific religious group. Regardless of your race, size, background or religious preference we are all here to grow in our personal relationship with Christ and to meet some friends along the way. We will be reading books to help us on our journey. Welcome!

I do have a testimony to give to all.
In November 0f '06, I started having such a horrible pain in my hip joint. I had gone to several Doctors, had MRI, cat-scan and ex-rays done. They told me it was nothing more than a slight case of arthritis. As each night past, the pain kept getting worse. It got to the point, that I had to sleep in a sitting position, (the pain mostly happened at night as I layed down). By April of '07, I finally got justly angered! As I layed down and felt that pain again, I put my hand on the pain and said "satan! I rebuke you in the name of Jesus Christ! I am covered by the blood, and you are not allowed! Get out of my body and leave!" As I fell asleep that night,(virtually, pain free!), I just kept praising Jesus, and saying "I am covered by the Blood...Thank you, Jesus". I have not had that pain since April of 2007! Praise His Holy name and give Glory to Him. The Greatest Healer of all!!!
I hope that this testimony may help someone to realize just how powerful our God really is. He TRULY does answer prayer!!
Love in Christ,
Roxy
I have a testimony that takes about 2 years time span. It was 2004 I'd say when it started. Prior to 2004 for the past 2 years I used my tax money (usually about $2,000) on my car-1996 Saturn. One year I cracked the head of the engine on it and the next year I did a major tune up on it, had interior re-done and stuff. After the second year of that in 2004 God told me that he would be giving me a new car. I didn't tell anyone that for a year and a half. I kept hanging onto it, confessing it, believing it. Psalms 115:14 The Lord shall increase you, more and more, you and your children. --That passage was constantly coming out of my mouth. I knew I had heard from God. The miles on the car were going up, it was having problems going into reverse and I didn't want to spend another years tax return on the car. I honestly don't remember why the church I go to (East Coast Christian Center) had contacted me but they had a minivan that someone gave to the church and asked me if I wanted it. I said yes and imagined in my mind "the van". Still holding onto what God had told me...this must be it...but wait, it's used, God said a NEW car. Also when I saw it....it was ok but with many improvments needed. They (the church) had it in good running condition, I went down, signed the papers and got the van. Now I had 2 vehicles..? I just parked the van, didn't drive it much. At this time now I had 2 trade in vehicles and I was going to use them as my down payment on a new car. I looked around for a month at dealerships and what they had. We always went at night because you can walk around and not get hassled. I found a mazda that I really liked but it was way too much and parts are expensive to replace. Then just prior to July 4, 2006 my friend Linda called and said that her and her husband wanted to help, said that they had prayed about it and wanted to give me the downpayment on the car! Off I went with that money and 2 vehicles to the Nissan dealership and on July 4, 2006 I had a brand new Nissan Sentra 5-speed with 15 miles on it! God is good!! I even got the windows tinted, booster seat for Camren, and some other interior stuff like the steeringwheel cover. Take that devil!! God works all things out for the good to those that love Him and are called according to his purpose.
I want to share how our God is intimately involved in our daily lives.
Chris and I always wanted a great camera. For Christmas, his mom bought us one. We have enjoyed that camera like nobody's business. We bring that camera everywhere.
Last week we visited his/my family. We were showing everyone honeymoon pics, etc...
A few days later we were looking for this camera. We searched high and low. Chris had his mom and brothers looking at their place...nothing.
Chris was sure he was guilty of being too distracted and was really struggling over feeling stupid and irresponsible.
One week had passed and no camera. I gave our home one more look. I realized God knew exactly where the camera was. I then began to pray that God would reveal the camera.
In the meantime I continued cleaning the house. The next thing I knew, I found myself walking into the storage closet for no apparant reason. I began to lift clothes and then a bag off of some luggage. I opened the luggage. There were clothes inside but, I pushed them aside, for no apparant reason. My hand then went to a black object that I pulled out and looked at. As you've probably guessed, it was our camera in a black case.
Bottom line... I was led to that luggage through no will of my own. I prayed about finding the camera. But, I really thought it was at my mother-in-laws house.God actually knew he importance to Chris and me and therefore led me to the camera.
Ladies, I was stoked! This is how personally God is involved in our lives.
Blessings,
Bonnie
Where do I start! hmmmm....
well, I remember one time I had only a few dollars in my wallet until payday which was 5 days away. I was a single mom and money was very tight. At church I felt like I needed to give my money for the offering. I was reminded of the story in the Bible of the poor woman who didnt' give much but it was all she had and how Jesus honored and blessed her. So I took a leap of faith and I gave my money. The next day my boss came into my office. He asked if he every reimbursed my lunch from over a month ago when I worked on a weekend. Then he gave me $20. I cried and thanked God!
Another story is when I had a piece of junk car that kept breaking down. Only one window rolled down and it had no A/C and my little boy had to sit in the back. Well, one day I felt like God said to have a yard sale. I thought "Ok, I may make $100. That won't help me get a new car!" Well then I started asking people if they wanted to get rid of anything and "donate" it to my yardsale. I couldn't believe how many people gave! From paintings to rugs and even a boat trailer! The yard sale brought in about $2300 and I was able to sell the junk car for $700. That's when I found a nice little Toyota with A/C for $3000!! I was in perfect condition!
I've really learned to trust the Lord because He always provides.
A Confirmation Testimony...
I had worked for the Gannett Newspaper Company for 10 years. I started working with them in New Jersey and relocated down here to Florida. Timing was perfect, green light go! All the doors and provision was opened as I was walking out of a past mistake into a new beginning! I would go to work and sense that my season with the company was over. The pay was decent (for Florida) and the people I worked with were great but I kept getting this stirring to quit. I talked it over with Dale (my husband) and he gave me his support on what ever I felt like I needed to do. Finally the day came when...it was time to take the leap and give my 2 week notice. Yikes! Hope my frequency is picking up the right message??? The next day was the confirmation that I had done the right thing! There was a piece of property I still owned with my ex and it had been on the market for a year with no buyers. Needless to say...the next day after I gave my notice we got a buyer for the property! God was showing me He is our provider we just need to take the step...and trust Him. "It's a FAITH thing..." :-) Go ahead and take the leap! The water is fine!

Well, here I am again!
I have several testimonies, but I'll give you just one, (at a time!), here.
I am a personal caregiver and am taking care of an 87 year old lady (my aunt). I always just give her the medicines that the doctor prescribes. He has been her doctor for about a year now. For over twenty years, she has had problems with her stomach and her old doctor had her on a stomach med. Last year, she ended up in the hospital and then a nursing home. In the nursing home, they took her off her stomach med, (not knowing her problems). Her children wanted her to have a different doctor. Anyway, they sent her back home, to me. She was not even able to stand. By this time, she got this new doc. About 2 or 3 weeks ago, he wanted to give her a new medicine for gout. I told him all about her stomach problems by this time. As I said in the beginning, I just give her the meds. For some reason, I decided to read the side effects. Some of them were, severe abdominal pain, black stool, possible bleeding. I called the doc, right away and said that I would not give her that med. I told him she needs something gentler. The next day, when I went to pick up the new med, the pharmacist, that has known her for 20 years, said it was a good thing I caught that, or she could have ended up in the hospital or worse. What made me read that info on that med, for the first time? I trust that God also read it! What do ya think?

Approximately 6 to 8 months ago someone stole a beautiful glass-topped table from the porch in our Virginia vacation home. At first, I wanted to hang a large sign on the porch saying, "Hey, you forgot the matching chairs." But, we decided to pray for the person(s), that God would convict them of the wrongdoing, that they would come to know His love, and that they would return the table.
We came to Virginia a few days ago and when we went out on the porch, there was the table in exactly the same place where it was before.
I'm glad we didn't give in to the temptation to remain angry and hold a grudge. God is soooo good!
Love to all, Grandma Linda
I lose things on a regular basis, maybe because I get distracted easily and forget where I've put things or maybe it's just my old mind failing or maybe a little of both. So, I ask God for help in finding what I am looking for. Almost always a picture of the item will come into my mind and where I put it. This is one of the functions of the Holy Spirit, the Helper, and I am very grateful. It boggles my mind that the God who created the Universe would also be willing to help me find my glasses.
Love to all,
Grandma Linda
Hey ladies. I wanted to let everyone know that Chris found a job...the one he already had. They decided to keep him on. Thank you all for your prayers and thoughts!!
