This section of the book is something I can refer to over and over again. Having the 10 Wilderness Mentalities right in front of me will be a big help in keeping my thinking lined up with God's thinking. I was surprised to read that lack of gratitude is a big hindrance to making spiritual progress. I try to practice being grateful, even for the hard times because I have lived long enough to know that the hard times produce all kinds of good things if I surrender myself to God in the midst of them. So, let's all hang in there together on our journey to the "promised land." Grandma Linda

WOW! This is so true! I've have met so many people who use their past as an excuse for their present behavior. By doing that they stay stuck in the future as well. It is so importat for us to remember that we are renewed in Christ and our past can be just that...our past. When you keep thinking that things will never change then they probably won't. When you start to think more positive then your words and actions start to change and before you know it your circumstances change too.

Always good to remember!
