Battlefield of the Mind, Chapter 15 Discussion

Hello Ladies! I'm anxious to get started on the next chapter. It's a long one but it sounds wonderful! Chapter 15: "The Mind of Christ". Need I say more?!!

Have a blessed week!

Something so comforting and empowering to me that was pointed out in this chapter is that if God expected us to walk in His statutes, He would have to give us His Spiit, a new heart and a new mind. And He did, as was prophesied in Ezekiel 36:26,27. The challenge is to discern the difference between the operation of the flesh in me and the operation of the mind of Christ. As the Scriptures say, "We have the mind of Christ." Reading this chapter has given me the desire to learn this difference and to choose to think and do what Jesus would want.

God bless and help all of you on this exciting journey.

I've worked hard on having a positive mind but it's still tough to be thankful during tough times. At church on Sunday the guest speaker said that when we are praying and asking God for something to not throw a fit if he says "No". If we throw a fit then we will miss His "Instead". If God says "no" then He has a better plan for us then we had for ourselves.

:)

Be blessed!
