Hi Ladies!
Let's look at Wilderness Mentality #5. "Don't make me wait for anything; I deserve everything immediately." I guess this would be called a spoiled brat attitude.
Be blessed!

The biggest thing that stood out to me in this chapter was - patience is not the ability to wait, it is the ability to keep a good attitude while waiting. We all have to wait for things to come to pass, whether we like it or not. There are certain things we cannot speed up or make happen. The only thing left for us to do is choose to wait patienly or fret.
Joyce's admonision to enjoy the waiting is a higher level that I have not employed. I want to get to that place.
How much more enjoyable life would be if I could put everything in God's hands, leave everything up to him, rest, then go on and enjoy my life.
To expect the world to revolve around me is selfish and I certainly don't want to live like that.
Let's all pray for each other to move to a higher level of trust in God when we have to be patient. Because when all is said and done, it is Him who works all things out for His purposes and our destiny.

I agree with you Grandma! A good attitude while waiting is something that doesn't come naturally to me. I have to make a decision and choose to stay positive. It doesn't always work. I pray we will all learn to really wait patiently and even enjoy the waiting process.
